The Feldenkrais® Method

The Feldenkrais® Method is a learning system that uses movement and awareness to develop optimal human potential. It helps us access a greater ease and proficiency in our movement, improve our posture, coordination and flexibility. The method enhances our capacity for mindful attention and cultivates our sensitivity to help regulate our emotional states. It is a unique way of learning that elicits new options through which we can act – and in doing so, gives us the freedom to respond in the ways that best reflect who we are.

ATM

Awareness Through Movement is a verbally directed mindfulness practice that improves our dynamic alignment and enhances our sense of well-being. The lessons help clarify the full range of possibility for human movement and action by accessing the sensory motor processes of the brain which involve attention, perception, imagination and cognition.

Functional Integration – Individual Sessions

Is an individualized session with gentle non-invasive touch that improves the organization and coordination of the nervous, skeletal and muscular systems. The Feldenkrais approach prioritizes the individual within their unique situation and works together with that person to optimize the demands and requirements of their individual circumstances.
